Battlegrounds Mobile India Sending Data To China : BANNED Again?- Knowledge World

Battlegrounds Mobile India Sending Data To China: According to a report by IGN India, data is being sent to Tencent's servers in Hong Kong. Also, all the information of Battlegrounds Mobile India players is reaching the Microsoft Azure server in Mumbai, Moscow, and the USA.

Android customers are already able to download Battlegrounds Mobile India for beta testing from the Play Store. However, the official game has not yet been launched. But before the official launch, the game surpassed 50 lakh downloads. Developer Krafton has not yet announced when the game will be launched in India. But before that, BGMI was at the center of the debate again.

According to a recent report, Battlegrounds Mobile India is sending data to China's servers. The report, published in IGN India, further claims that BGMI's data is reaching a server in Beijing. According to sources, this server is actually Tencent Games. The Chinese game developer Tencent was responsible for the distribution of PUBG Mobile. That is why PUBG Mobile was banned from India last year.

According to a report by IGN India, data is being sent to Tencent's servers in Hong Kong. Also, all the information of Battlegrounds Mobile India players is reaching the Microsoft Azure server in Mumbai, Moscow, and the USA. However, this time the authenticity of the report has not been verified digitally.

However, there is no denying that the report contradicts Krafton's claims. Using a data sniffer app, IGN India has learned that data from the Battlegrounds Mobile India game is reaching the servers of China Mobile Communications Corporation in Beijing. Also, some of Tencent's services have been seen running in the game.
Meanwhile, the terms of the Battlegrounds Mobile India game clearly state that this game will store all the personal information of the customer on the server of India. But then Krafton, the developer of the game, turned around again. A new condition has been added, some data may be sent to overseas servers for legal reasons.

What could have been said, is now realized. Although, nothing has been proven yet. The whole thing is at the level of complaint. Already, several political leaders in the country have demanded a ban on the Battlegrounds Mobile India game, an alternative to PUBG Mobile. The Union Ministry has also received a letter saying that the game will compromise India's security.
